    "New data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirm that vapor products are contributing to the reduction in the number of combusted cigarette smokers. Scientific research also reveals that vapor products are considered a minimum of 95 percent less harmful than smoking tobacco cigarettes, and do not present a risk of exposure to the toxic combustion compounds found in those cigarettes.

    It would appear obvious that tobacco-control advocates concerned about reducing smoking consumption should at least consider embracing the potential of e-cigarettes as it relates to harm reduction.

    Many anti-vaping advocates, such as Tobacco Free California, fail to acknowledge the benefits of vapor products and have bombarded the airwaves with false and misleading campaigns about the vapor industry."
