Health department proposes e-cigarette regulations excerpt from above link: "Data from the Utah Poison Control Center shows poisonings from accidental ingestion of e-liquids has spiked over the past few years, from 16 cases to 2012 to 133 cases in 2014. Children under age 6 made up the majority of the exposure cases." I do not mind if HEALTH & SAFETY information is being presented, regardless of whether the information is pro or anti vaping, but it does need to be relevant to vaping. The excerpt above has absolutely NOTHING to do with vaping. Children under the age of 6 being poisoned by nicotine is a parent/guardian negligence issue, NOT A VAPING ISSUE. FWIW...
Make sure the bottles have child safety caps on them. Anything else, as @Jeff said, is an issue about bad parenting. I suppose some sort of obvious label information saying something like 'KEEP AWAY FROM YOUR CHILDREN AND PETS, YOU IDIOTS!' might make some of the slower parents think a bit more. But how many standard household items are poisonous to 6 year olds if ingested? Just about every sort of cleaning liquid, cosmetics, toothpaste, a load of kids' items (pens, glue, etc), medicines, alcohol, coffee even. Where's the hype over these?
